Have a Sign Surveyed

Sign Description

Click on the drop down arrow next to "Sign description" to select from the various sign descriptions.  Options include:
  • Awnings
  • Cabinets - also called "Box Signs".  Usually constructed of an aluminum box-style frame 6-9" in depth with a plastic face.  These signs are typically internally illuminated with fluorescent lamps and installed on a wall above a storefront.
  • Channel Letters (Ind. Illuminated Letters) - also called "Halo Lit Letters" or "Back Lit Letters".  Usually internally illuminated with neon.
  • Electronic Display - also called "Message Centers" or "Time and Temp" signs.  Displays are typically manufactured with wedge-based lamps or LED bulbs, and can be programmed to display a moving message or current time and temperature.
  • Electrical Sign (other than listed here) - select this option to include an electrical sign that is not listed, or to include a primary sign package that includes any combination of electrical sign types ("a sign package").
  • Fleet Graphics - also called "Vehicle Graphics"
  • Interior Signs (Architectural Signs) - includes ADA signs (Amercian Disability Act), directories, directional and identification signs.
  • Monuments - also called a "Ground Sign" or "Low Profile Sign".  Similar in construction to a cabinet or pylon sign, this type of sign is typically known for its solid base and low-to-the-ground installation.  Can be internally or externally illuminated.
  • Neon
  • Non-Electrical Sign (other than listed here) - select this option to include a non-electrical sign that is not listed, or to include a primary sign package that includes any combination of non-electrical sign types ("a sign package").
  • Pylons (Free Standing Sign) - also called "Monument" or "Pole" signs.  This type of sign is mounted to a pole or poles, and is typically installed with a minimum of 8' of clearance from the bottom of the sign to the ground.  Typically internally illuminated.
  • Sandblasted, Routed, or Carved (3D) - sandblasted signs are made by blasting away exposed wood or high density urethane with a high pressure air and sand mixture.  Perhaps the most common type of sandblasted signs are those often found as golf course layout signs.  These types of 3 dimensional signs can also be produced by routing or carving away areas of the substrate.
  • Sign Painting
  • Vinyl Graphics / Banners - includes banners, window graphics, non-illuminated signage, vehicle or fleet graphics.
  • Yard or Site Signs
Zip / Postal OR City and State / Province

You must provide a city and state / province, OR a zip / postal code.  The zip / postal code field will always "overrule" the city and state / province fields, so please ensure you enter the correct zip / postal code, if applicable (i.e. if you enter "Portland, Oregon" as the city and state, but "98133" as the zip code, your search will yield results for Seattle, Washington, since "98133" is a zip code for Seattle).

Distance Search

If you wish to find a service or repair company that is within a certain number of miles from your selected zip / postal code, enter the number of miles here (helpful for narrowing search queries that result in numerous listings).  Distance searches are based on longitudinal and latitudinal data from any given zip or postal code, therefore, distance search results cannot be guaranteed if the zip or postal code data is not in our database.  You must enter a zip / postal code to perform a distance search.
