The process could have been more smooth. There was a lot of back and forth communication on things that were simple. Even though I gave verbal authorization to come out to diagnose and repair my signage for $300, and text message authorization. However the company wanted a email authorization. And because they didn't get the email authorization it pushed back the schedule appointment time.
The technician arrived and diagnose the issue. However he could not complete the repair because he didn't have electrical wire on the truck. Since Lowe's was closed he would have to come back another day to actually complete the repairs.
The technician stated I needed to call the office to get placed back on the schedule for the tech to come back out to make the repair. When I called the office they would not come back out until they received and email authorization of an additional $375 for the technician to come back out. Even though the original quote of $300 was for diagnose and repairs. So I ended up paying $675+tax =$730.69
The manager/owner's wife called me to explain why the technician was not prepared for the job by having all the items need on the truck. I explained that I was really busy at that moment; running a business and could not talk. Yet she continued to go on and on of why the tech didn't know what the job entailed so the truck was not stocked. Which didnt make any sense since someone came out prior to the tech coming out. I was so irritated that I asked her "so is the appointment reschedule? is the tech coming back out? because I have to go!" She stated once we have the email authorizing the additional trip charge then it would be rescheduled.
The 3rd trip out the issue was resolved. The process should have been simpler. The employee's wife should have been politer and less argumentative . The work should not have cost as much as it did. However the repair was successfully completed, so there that. So thanks!

Hamid was very responsive and even called to verify request for quote had been received. The company met my budget and was eager to work together on the project. Survey was completed within 48 business hours of receiving samples. Prior to Survey, installer was a bit confused on what was needed. Was able to contact installer and Hamid immediately and confusion was quickly cleared. Received survey that met standards of company.

I requested a survey from SW Signs and experience went really well. Everyone was very responsive and quick to reply to any communication I sent with questions. Survey photos were really great and captured all distances of the sign so I could have an overall view of the location. Measurements were added to the photos instead of written down separately, which I thought was helpful as well. Great customer service and will be using them again soon!

The last time we used Southewest Signs was in 2013, and it was an utter disaster. Given the numerous positive reviews since, I figured there might be a difference. To my unfortunate discovery, it was absolutely not. They own no equipment, no storage space, and did no work themselves. They didn't call for a dig check, and blamed my customer directly. They lost my documents numerous times, and then had the audacity to charge me more money claiming that I was the issue. Not to mention the 2 week span where they turned into a ghost, the only way I got ahold of them was to use my cellphone as a guise so they would answer for new business, even though I had provided them with a 50% deposit. I am truly shocked that people have actually had a positive experience with these folks, or even gotten any work done. I advise anyone considering using these people, please find someone else.
